We will stop for lunch somewhere on the way at a carefully chosen spot. Later, peddle to Ghanerao Jungle Lodge which is our destination for the night. It’s an old hunting lodge of the erstwhile noble family of Ghanerao.

  • Day 4 Ghanerao - Jojawar [50 Kms]

Today, we will start cycling from Ghanerao jungle Lodge to Jojawar through Ghanerao village. This is a very interesting landscape, with the picturesque Aravali Hills in the east, and broken rocky hills interspersed with farms and scrub forests all around. The camel, cattle & sheep herders – The Rebaris are an ethnic group only to be found around south Rajasthan and you will cycle to their hamlets, where you feel like a part of the bygone era.

We will also ride a country train. The train route between the cities of Jodhpur and Udaipur goes up the nearby scenic Khamli Ghat Pass. It is a meter gauge train (1 meter track). The engine laboriously and slowly pulls the train through the most beautiful forests and hills that you get to see in the state, this one hour ride is really unique as you even get to interact with the locals who’ll readily share their seats with you. Also, catch a few monkeys, ultra active & keen to grab eatables from you.
